Do You Struggle with Snoring? Zeus Could Be the Answer
How Does the Zeus Anti-Snoring Device Work?
It’s actually quite simple. Zeus provides a discreet and non-invasive way to help reduce snoring. If your snoring is caused by the relaxation of the tongue and upper airway muscles during sleep, Zeus may help support your airway and make your nights a little quieter.
It can easily be added to your usual bedtime routine, giving you a simple option to try without bulky equipment or complicated setup.
Here’s how it works:
1. Place the device under your chin
Before going to bed, place the Zeus device underneath your chin using the hydrogel pad provided. The device sits against the skin and targets the muscles that help support your upper airway.
2. Switch Zeus on
Once the device is in place, switch it on and choose a stimulation level that feels comfortable for you. The stimulation is gentle and designed to work while you sleep.
3. Zeus gently stimulates the muscles
During the night, Zeus sends small electrical pulses to the muscles underneath your chin, including the genioglossus muscle. This muscle plays a role in controlling the position of your tongue.
4. It helps keep the tongue in a forward position
When we fall asleep, the muscles around the tongue and throat naturally relax. For some people, this can cause the tongue to move backwards and narrow the airway. Zeus helps to keep these muscles active, supporting the tongue in a more forward position.
5. This helps support airflow
With the tongue and surrounding muscles supported, the aim is to reduce narrowing in the upper airway and allow air to move through more easily.
6. This can help reduce snoring
When the airway becomes narrow, the soft tissues around it can vibrate as you breathe, which is what creates the sound of snoring. By helping to support the airway, Zeus is designed to reduce these vibrations and help minimise snoring.
7. Use it as part of your normal bedtime routine
One of the benefits of Zeus is that there’s very little to do. Simply position the device under your chin, switch it on and let it work while you sleep.
